create registry back up

registry is an important part.
So before installation of new software or new experiment it is better to make registry backup

1)open regedit.exe
2)Click file then Export and save
3)U r done.

click thatb back up file to restore registry.

fix dual boot problem through commands

U have two Operating system installed.
problem:
(1) computer automatically starts in XP(lower version or linux) so unable to use VISTA(higher version).
a)insert vista dvd and repair vista using system repair.
under command prompt windows option
bootrec.exe /fixMBR and press enter.
bootrec.exe /fixBoot and press enter.
restart computer. [now computer will start in vista]
b) run command prompt as an addministrator on right click.
enter after each command.
bcdedit -set {ntldr} device partition=C:
bcdedit -set {ntldr} path \ntldr
bcdedit -displayorder {ntldr} -addlast
bcdedit -set {ntldr} description “Microsoft Windows XP”
-------------response after each enter either should command ren successfully or already exists
but if not then retype that command.
c)U r don.Enjoy dual boot.

(2) if computer starts in vista (newer windows) so unable to use XP(older windows)(or linux)
perform step (b) onwards.

##It is already tested.Perform at ur OWN RISK.

b)download EASY BCD

specify type and name
click add entry and save.
d) you are done. Enjoy dual boot.

(2)computer automaticaly starts in vista(newer windows) so unable to use xp(or older windows)(or linux).
start from option (b) in above solution.

** run easy bcd directly in lower windows in solution 1 (let say in XP) at UR OWN RISK.
